At Asheville Sun Soo, we support the entire family. Looking for a fun activity or things you can do in Asheville with the kids? Once a month, we host a Kids Night Out – parents get an evening out, while the kids have a blast at the best party in town!
Kids Night Out Activities
Our Kids Night Out includes a variety of things to do from team-building and skill games, arts and crafts, and a kid-friendly movie, to pizza and a whole lot of excitement – all for more fun and less cost than hiring a babysitter for the evening. At Asheville Sun Soo, every Kids Night Out is generously staffed to ensure excellent ratios to attending kids and a well-run and safe evening. Since 2015, the Asheville Sun Soo Kids Night Out program has been voted #1 in WNC by Mountain Xpress magazine.
Due to the current coronavirus situation, we are temporarily suspending these activities, but we look forward to hosting the best night out for kids as soon as it is safe to do so.
Kids’ Birthday Parties: Fun Educational
At Asheville Sun Soo, we offer birthday parties for kids that will be remembered forever! Held in our beautiful, 10,000 sq foot state-of-the-art facility, we offer a birthday package that includes an hour and a half of non-stop fun, facilitated by the phenomenal instructors of Asheville Sun Soo.
Kids Team-Building Activities & Martial Arts
Your Sun Soo birthday party includes skill and team-building games, a fun and educational Tae Kwon Do lesson highlighting the birthday boy or girl as the “star” of the class, a Tae Kwon Do demonstration by the Sun Soo instructors, pizza, and time for cake, ice cream and opening of presents. There are plenty of things to do and entertain the children. Kids have a blast while parents can drop-and-go or watch comfortably from our lobby, immediately adjacent to the matted party area. Birthday parties are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

Summer & Spring Break Camps
At Asheville Sun Soo Martial Arts Spring Break and Summer Day Camps, children will enjoy martial arts classes including self defense and character building sessions, “Poetry with a Punch,” arts & crafts activities, kids movies, swimming, games, “Mad Science,” and a weekly field trip … FUN!!!
